Share the pickup code with the carrier once the item is physically in their hands. The trip starts here.
Delivered & delivery OTP
The carrier reaches the receiver. The receiver shares the delivery code, and only then does the trip close.
Carrier gets paid
The blocked amount is deducted, the platform fee comes off, and the balance moves to the carrier’s wallet to withdraw.

Identity verification
Phone, email and government ID checks before a user can carry or send. Repeat carriers who clear enhanced checks earn a blue tick on their profile.
OTP at both ends
One code to release the parcel at pickup, another to close it at delivery. No code, no completed trip, no payout.
Photo proof of contents
The sender must photograph the item as it is handed over and submit it in the app. It is the record both sides rely on if there's a dispute.
Money held until delivery
The amount is blocked in your GoPathik wallet when the trip starts and only released after delivery is confirmed.
Prohibited items list
Cash, gold, narcotics, weapons and anything restricted by law, by an airline or by customs are not allowed. Carriers may refuse and report any parcel.
Two-way ratings
Senders and carriers rate each other after every trip. Ratings, cancellations and reports all stay attached to the profile.

Cross-border rules always apply. Customs declarations, duties and any import restriction are the responsibility of the sender and the carrier, and every parcel must be openly declared. Commercial consignments and restricted goods are not permitted — see our prohibited items list.
Excess baggage at the airport
Over the limit at check-in? Find room, not a penalty.
Airport mode shows verified passengers on your own flight who have declared unused allowance. Match, sort it out at the counter, and split the cost instead of paying per kilo.
Airline rules always come first. Every passenger must be able to identify and account for everything in their own baggage, and both users must be present at the counter. GoPathik only makes the introduction.

Is GoPathik a courier company?
No. GoPathik is a technology platform that introduces senders to travellers. We do not collect, transport, store or deliver anything ourselves, and we are not a party to the arrangement between the two users. The full position is set out in our Terms & Conditions.
What can't be sent?
Cash, jewellery and gold, narcotics, alcohol, tobacco, weapons and ammunition, explosives and flammables, live animals, perishables, counterfeit goods, and anything a carrier, airline or Indian law restricts. Sending a prohibited item is a criminal matter and the sender alone carries that liability.
How do I know the carrier is real?
Every carrier completes phone, email and government ID verification before taking a trip. Profiles show verification status, completed trips and ratings. Carriers who pass enhanced checks display a blue tick.
When does the carrier get paid?
The fee is blocked in the sender's wallet when the trip is confirmed. Once delivery is confirmed by OTP, the platform fee is deducted and the balance moves to the carrier's wallet. They can withdraw to a bank account from there.
What if something goes missing or arrives damaged?
Raise a dispute in the app within the window stated in our Terms. We will share the handover photograph, OTP timestamps and chat records with both users, and may suspend accounts. But the contract is between sender and carrier, and GoPathik does not indemnify losses.
Which cities does it work in?
Anywhere someone is travelling. Coverage grows with the number of travellers on a route, so metro pairs and busy international corridors fill fastest.
Can I send something abroad?
Yes, on corridors where verified flyers are active. Both users must declare the parcel truthfully at customs, and the carrier must be able to describe and account for everything they are carrying. Duties, taxes and import rules are the users' responsibility, not GoPathik's.
Is this cheaper than a courier?
Usually, because the traveller is going anyway and the space is already paid for. You and the carrier agree the amount before the trip, so there are no surcharges added later.
